Who operates the site and acceptance of the terms
prismify operates this website from the United Kingdom. By accessing or using the site and enrolling in any of our specialised courses on live production decks, control rooms, multi-camera switching, live broadcasting techniques, real-time video operation or professional management of television and streaming productions, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the site immediately.
Eligibility and permitted use
Users must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under UK law. The site and courses are intended for individuals and organisations seeking professional training in broadcast and streaming production. You may use the materials only for personal or internal professional development and not for resale or redistribution without prior written consent.
Prohibited conduct
You must not attempt to copy, reverse-engineer or share course content, disrupt live training sessions, upload malicious code, impersonate others, or use the site for any unlawful purpose. Violations may result in immediate termination of access and potential legal action under UK legislation including the Computer Misuse Act 1990.
Accounts, submissions and user content
Where accounts are created for course access or submissions of practical assignments, you are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of login details. Any content you submit remains your property but you grant prismify a licence to use it for assessment and course improvement. We reserve the right to remove content that breaches these terms.
Ownership of site content, trademarks and permitted limited use
All course materials, videos, diagrams and text remain the intellectual property of prismify or its licensors. You may download materials solely for your own training. Trademarks such as the prismify name and logo may not be used without express permission.
Third-party services and links
The site may reference third-party platforms for video hosting or payment processing. We do not endorse or guarantee the availability or accuracy of such services and you use them at your own risk in accordance with their own terms.
Availability, changes, suspension and termination
We aim to keep the site and courses available but may suspend access for maintenance, updates or legal reasons without notice. We may terminate your access if you breach these terms. Changes to courses or pricing will be communicated in advance where possible.
Disclaimers subject to mandatory consumer law
While we strive for high-quality training, course outcomes depend on individual effort. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK consumer law including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Limitation of liability
Subject to the above, our total liability for any claim arising from the site or courses shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant course in the preceding twelve months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or data.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify prismify against claims arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of course materials, except to the extent caused by our negligence.
Governing law, courts and consumer dispute rights
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, although consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their local courts. You retain rights to complain to the relevant ombudsman or use alternative dispute resolution under UK consumer protection rules.
Severability, waiver, changes, contact route and last-updated date
If any provision is found invalid, the remainder continues in force. Failure to enforce a term does not constitute a waiver. We may update these terms and will publish the revised date. For questions contact us via the form on our Contacts page or using [email protected], 07824 559724 or 14 Amyas Way, Northam, Devon, EX39 1UT, United Kingdom. These terms were last updated on 26 October 2026.
